MY STORY

My husband and I moved from Raleigh to Johnston County in 1998 and immediately felt at home. We have been married for 27 years and have 2 daughters, Taylor (24) and Allie (19). Prior to retiring, I was a school counselor in the Cleveland area for 24 years, and enjoyed working in public education and counseling. I felt called to use these skills and apply them to ministry and look forward to following where God leads.
I have a Master of Education degree from Campbell University and a certification in Christian Life Coaching. I am ordained and am available to officiate weddings and funerals. I am pursuing a PhD in Christian Education and hope to have my dissertation complete "soon". I have spent many years devoted to ministry and leading in my church along with other non-profit ministry groups. I attend Overflow Church in Angier, NC. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family, reading and journaling.
I specialize in coaching women of all ages through life's many transitions. I also specialize in assisting children with decision making as they develop and grow. I am trained and able to work in the areas of anger, stress management, anxiety, identity, school refusal, social anxiety and grief. I look forward to helping meet these needs using scripture and conversation with God.
